It’s finally Mothers Day and that means a day for mom to stay at home, take a break from work and stay in pajamas/sleep wear/however it’s called and enjoy all the sweet love and a good days rest.

So give her something sweet. Or as bear. haha In the case of my mommy. ^,.,^ But first, a good blood bath. Who’s to be my victim tonight. haha Nah. Just kidding (half-joking).

Morning w/ Terminal Choice- Don’t Go
Blueberry Muffin Tart-

  • 1 cup & 14 oz all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup of fresh blueberries

Directions-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
In a medium-sized bowl, cream butter. Add sugars, eggs, vanilla extract and half of the buttermilk. Combine wet ingredients with the dry. When mixed, add the remaining buttermilk. Then gently fold in the blueberries into the mixture. Bake for 23 minutes.

Mmmm… even as a batter it still looks appetizing.

My pale hand with the finished breakfast treat. Yes, the blueberries will go to the bottom and it will not have a risen top. Remember, it’s not a muffin all the way. It’s a muffin tart.
